Hi, my name is Katelyn Welch. You can call me Katy! I love working with adults, teenagers, pre-teens, and children facing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and stress management, among others.  Whether you’re facing new personal challenges, feeling overwhelmed by life’s stresses, seeking self-growth, or looking for help for your teen, tween, and/or child, I am grateful to explore the possibility of therapy with you.

I am passionate about creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment to process your thoughts and concerns together.  I value being present with you and exploring how you can utilize your strengths to overcome life’s challenges. My hope is that through therapy you will feel supported, encouraged, and empowered to be your authentic self and reach your personal goals. Wherever you are in your journey, it is an honor to get to know you and support you along the way!

I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate.  I’m under the supervision of Cynthia Horwitz, MS, LPC-S.

Outside of counseling, I love spending time in nature, trying new restaurants with my husband, and running. It’s important to me to take time to laugh, be a little goofy, and be adventurous to keep life interesting!

When you feel ready to take the next step in your journey, please feel free to reach out and schedule a FREE 15-minute consultation with me. I’m very excited to get to know you!
